LOOKING AT BUYING AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE?​

Please arrange to have the vehicle you are thinking of purchasing comprehensively inspected by one of our fully trained EV Technicians.

Electric vehicles have very complex electronics, we will carry out a full diagnostic test of all the electronics on the car. 

The test will reveal any current and future issues, this will also include a fully comprehensive state of battery test where every single cell within the battery will be tested.​​​​​​​

 

 

• Diagnostic check: We will carry out a full system diagnostic check, this will reveal any current or future issues with the vehicle. This check will also include a battery state of health check, this will reveal any issues with  the cells within the battery.

• Starter battery: The 12-volt starter battery switches the high-voltage system's current circuit. A faulty starter battery can prevent the car from starting. 

• Charging system: Check the charging system and make sure it's working properly. 

• Wiring: Inspect all electrical connections and wiring. 

• Brakes and tires: Check the brakes and tires for any issues. 

• Suspension and steering systems: Check the suspension and steering systems for any issues. 

• Bodywork: Check the body panels for dents, scratches, rust, misaligned panels, or paint color inconsistencies. 

• Lights and indicators: Check all exterior lights, including headlights, taillights, brake lights, and indicators. 

• Interior: Check for wear and tear on the seats, dashboard, carpets, and other interior components. 

• Functionality: Test all the buttons, switches, and controls to make sure they're working properly.
